Terms of business.

The terms on which we act for you. Your engagement letter sets out the specifics.

Our fees

We quote in writing before we start. Fixed fees are fixed. Capped fees will not be exceeded without your written agreement. Fees exclude VAT and disbursements unless stated.

Paying

The first consultation is paid when you book. Fixed fees: half on instruction, half on completion. Hourly work: monthly, itemised.

Who does the work

The solicitor named on your matter runs it from start to finish. If they are away, another solicitor at the firm picks up the file.

Ending the engagement

You can end our engagement at any time in writing. We can end it for good reason on reasonable notice. You pay for work done to that point.
